Biography

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. My empirical research examines banking, labor and finance, FinTech, and machine learning, with an emphasis on policy questions involving regulation, credit markets, and risk taking. I was selected as one of three Emerging Scholars for the 2025 Community Banking Research Conference, co-sponsored by the Federal Reserve System, the FDIC, and the Conference of State Bank Supervisors. I have taught or supported courses in financial modelling, derivatives, computational finance, machine learning, FinTech, and risk management.
