Raghad Elgamal

Biography

Raghad Elgamal is a researcher at the DeGroote School of Business specializing in Information systems. Her area of research focuses on digital literacy training for older adults. The aim of her research is to age well and find pragmatic and strategic ways to implement technology and information systems in aging well. Since 2022, Raghad Elgamal has dedicated her research to identifying and promoting best practices for digital literacy training for organizations and public libraries to help older adults stay connected in an increasingly digital world. Raghad Elgamal received her Master’s degree in Anthropology from McMaster University with a dissertation focusing on digital photo archives and storytelling. Currently, she continues to conduct research on digital literacy training for older adults. She received the OGS award for the year 2022-2023.
