This course will introduce students to a variety of multivariate data analysis techniques that they are likely to use in analyzing data from their own research. The focus will be on issues related to the application of these techniques rather than their mathematical foundations. Topics to be covered include multiple regression, MANOVA, exploratory factor analysis, and structural equation modelling. A graduate level course in introductory/univariate statistics (e.g., Sociology *6Z03), or equivalent, would be a prerequisite to this course.
