We are pleased to formally acknowledge Anna Sadovnikova‘s successful defence of her dissertation titled “Fruits from the Tree of Sustainability – Value Creation in Green Strategic Partnerships”. Anna was supervised by Ashish Pujari and the two other members of her supervisory committee were Ken Deal and Manish Kacker. Anna is our first graduate from the Marketing field in the PhD program!
Anna came to our PhD program with two Masters degrees, an MBA from the University of Baltimore and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics. While enrolled in our doctoral program, her co-authored research papers were accepted or published in top-tier and leading journals such as Journal of Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS), Journal of Business Research (JBR) and Journal of Consumer Affairs.
She presented at several conferences including the 2015 Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy Conference, the 2015 Theory + Practice in Marketing Conference, the 2014 Empirical and Theoretical Symposium in Marketing Strategy, the 2013 AMA Summer Marketing Educators’ Conference, and the 2011 Conference on Historical Analysis and Research in Marketing.
She won the Best Student Paper award at the 2013 PDMA Research Forum and was a finalist of the 2015 ISBM Doctoral Dissertation Award Competition (Honorable Mention). During the program, Anna was awarded a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship and an Ontario Graduate Scholarship. She was also a joint-winner of the 2014-15 Academic Leadership Award of the PhD Program.
Anna will be joining South Dakota State University, as an Assistant Professor in Marketing, starting July 22, 2016.
